Basecamp Resort

For Valentine’s day weekend, my girlfriend and I wanted to “get away.” We wanted small, private, hot tub, fire pit and grill and indoor fireplace. Lucky for us we found Rockin’ Rambler, a Cabin in Basecamp Resort. The location was ideal. Isolated yet a skip away from Kerrville and a jog to Fredericksburg. Once inside, you have everything you need. It was well kept, very clean and all was in working order. Instructions were simple and the ease of no contact entry was as easy. The outdoor amenities at the cabin were as advertised and better. Gas grill was clean and functional. The hot tub, our primary need, was clean, functioning and 104° when we got there. We missed the fire pit however the county and surrounding area was on a burn ban this weekend. I must include, the owners, Kelly and Jeremy, were quick to answer any questions and responsive to our needs. This place is a Must Stay.

During the devastating flood in Kerr County we served free food to Volunteers and we had the greatest privilege to stay at this beautiful and calming location. Words cannot describe this incredible location but I will try. We stayed in a Tent Cabin “ Wagon Wheel” private side patio fenced in with a fire pit and jacuzzi. Absolutely perfect if you have pets. The room is beautifully decorated the king bed is comfortable and little kitchenette is well stocked. The bathroom is huge and they provide everything. The pool oh the pool absolutely stunning and cool. So hopefully this review encourages you to stay. Thank you Jeremy & Kelly we will never forget you. And will return.

Such a cozy and cute place! house was clean and very accommodating for a special 10 years of friendship weekend! amazing amenity's that were well kept and very clean! overall amazing place for a girls weekend!!

The Basecamp Resort is the greatest set up! Had no idea what to expect and the layout of the property is truly perfect for either a small family set up or a large group get away. It’s a great location - convenient to all the spots. Extremely nice accommodations with hot tubs and the perfect amount of privacy! We had a cabin and a tent and both were really top notch!! The tent was luxury 5* glamping! Will return here many times over and was so impressed with every detail about the property!

Unbeatable location, spotlessly clean, lovely amenities, great pillows and bedding. Fabulous for a chilly girls weekend, couples or families. We were spread between The Lodge (fabulous), a cabin (adorable!) and a tent (totally glamping) I would highly recommend any and all depending on your group. Pics are of a tent

Kelly and Jeremy are absolutely amazing people. Not only is the cabin that I've been staying in a beautiful, well-taking care of place, but they have been so gracious to let a lot of us stay here at no charge for our efforts. I've never been to this area before now but I will definitely be back and this is where I will be staying! You've got a hot tub, you've got comfortable spacious living spaces, a grill to barbecue and a fire pit to enjoy the quiet evenings. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to come visit the Hill Country look no further!

We gathered in the lodge to celebrate 10 years of friendship for our group. The space was the perfect size and beautifully decorated. We loved the scenery and easy access to Ingram, Hunt & Kerrville.

If you are looking for a nice peaceful staycation not to far from home. Then look no farther than glamping at Bascamp Resort in Ingram TX. It was perfect! The Lizzy Joy Tent had everything we needed and was so cozy! I recommend eating at Wahoo's seafood in Kerrville and check out the shops downtown off Water St. Only thing I would ask before your arrival is if there is a burn ban. We couldn't use the firepit due to that and it would have been nice since it was a chilly New Years night!
